Churches & Abbeys

Churches, Cathedrals, Minster's and Abbeys make great photography subjects, whether in their peaceful interiors or outside taking in their historic exteriors. Even though we have several foreign churches and religious sites, and will be building on our collection of these, we have mainly English churches here for now

The photographs and eco friendly prints we have in this collection include not only your conventional images but also ones not so conventional. Such as 'Church at dusk', taken from a couple of miles away with the sun behind, to create a powerful distant silhouette. Or how about 'Country Church 1 and 2'. The same church, just from a different time and angle. As you will see this produced a totally different print. On a more scary note, what about Dracula's grave yard? Taken at the cemetary where Draucla was washed up in Whitby. We also have 'Peace on the river', taken on the banks of the Humber pointing west. Even though the church is way in the background, the suns rays shining through give it a powerful feel
